Revised June 2013; Oct 2014; Oct 2015; Oct 2016; Oct 2017; Oct 2018; Oct 2019; Oct 2021
All NTRAC activities are posted on the web site and all agendas are posted on the web pages. The meetings are done on a regular basis and appropriate notes and minutes are kept. The Executive Board and General Membership meet the first Thursday of the even months, in the United Regional Health Care System, Eleventh Street Campus. In addition, meetings are also called on as needed basis for projects such as Bylaws, Trauma Diversion and Bypass Protocols, and Trauma System Plan.
The NTRAC has adopted a very open communication policy, i.e., we are here to work as a very cooperative and open group with one very common goal; how can we best provide, all the aspects of patient care of trauma patients, including preventative, transportation, diagnostic, curative, supportive, and rehabilitative.
- All agencies are dispatched by 911 Call Centers.
- Agencies utilize radio and cellular phones for dispatch, communication between vehicles, and On-Line Medical Control.
- Response Times vary greatly between agencies of NTRAC, TSA-C due to the enormous disparity in populations, areas of coverage, full-time vs. part-time or volunteer staffing. Methods to monitor and improve these response times are being addressed by the PHEMS committee.
