North Texas Regional Advisory Council

The North Texas Regional Advisory Council (NTRAC) is an identified Regional Advisory Council by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) that has established bylaws and is approved by DSHS as the coordinating agency responsible for system development; coordination of health care services; and responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the regional trauma and emergency health care system plan, performance criteria, and self-assessment within Trauma Service Area – C which encompasses ten counties: Archer, Baylor, Clay, Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wilbarger, Wichita and Young.

NTRAC is a 501c3 non-profit, member organization consisting of 1 Level II Trauma Center, 8 Level IV Trauma Centers, air medical provides and 14 EMS agencies.
